Wonderful! Reminds me of the fried smelt my mom used to make when I was little. My brother and I would fight over who would get fishtails, crispy and salty like potato chips. Delicious!
Such a visual and sensual commentary. I would love to find fresh anchovies but alas Vermont is not the place. I did see some beautiful anchovies being bright in in Cuba’s south coast. Been dreaming of them ever since.
