I’m excited about a new cooking product that my team and I have created that really speaks to our values. It’s environmentally-minded, saves you time, and presents us all with something new and potentially exciting. It also happens to be tech-forward.
How to Eat Less Meat is a phone-based, month-long meal planner with a purpose that takes the guesswork out of what’s for dinner.
Through SMS (that’s the fancy name for texting in case you’re wondering), we’ve put together the week’s shopping list for three different meatless recipes per week, along with audio clips that include a mini editorial and a brief cooking lesson. You pick what you want to cook — and when. And that’s where the fun begins.
This isn’t so much an instructional course, but an interactive one — one that allows me to engage in conversation with you about why we should eat less meat and how easy and delicious that can be. We’ll be working toward that goal together: cooking — day by day, for 30 days. Through your phone, I’ll be offering lots of guidance beyond the recipes — including visuals and prompts for every step of the way — in addition to the big-picture audio lessons for the week: all conveniently delivered right to your fingertips.
